Job Description:
•To manage the upkeep and maintenance of 2 properties in Boracay which includes
regular inspection of the property on a daily basis.
• To undertake all day-to-day management of the assigned properties and to report to the
Owners and Operations Team Leader accordingly.
• To manage a team of maintenance staff for the efficient running of the properties
including payroll management and scheduling, ensuring sufficient service staff are
maintained at all times with respect to the property.
• To work closely with the Architect for build-out, renovations, and improvements of and
within the properties
• To manage all financial matters, including monitoring of the purchases and liquidation of
expenditure of the property to ensure that these are in line with the annual budgets
• To identify problem areas in processes pertaining to facilities management operations
and recommend improvement plans to maximize the efficiency
• Responsible for the strict implementation of Building Rules and Regulations including
fitting-out guidelines, review of plans/specification, inspection, testing and
commissioning and related policies.
• To plan, set up, implement and supervise regular preventative maintenance programs
for all building structures, systems and equipment and all contract services in the
property, e.g. cleaning, landscape
• To act as Chief Marshall in the event of onsite emergency situations.
• To formulate and implement cost savings initiatives.
• To perform regular fire, earthquake evacuation and other emergency related drills.
• To carry out any other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
• To maintain good public relations with coworkers, owners and tenants.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Engineering, Architecture, Management Engineering,
Building Technology, Business Administration or related field and minimum of three
years’ experience.
• Good knowledge of all laws that govern building management and maintenance, as well
as familiarity with the National Building Code and legislation that have an impact on
building safety, emergency evacuation and environmental protection.
• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret various types of business documents.
• Ability to write reports and emails
• Ability to effectively respond to complex inquiries or complaints from co-workers,
supervisor, and/or management.
• Ability to present information to an internal department and/or groups of employees.
• Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate
analytical and quantitative skills.
• Substantial hands on experience in building management procedures and supervision
of contractors.
